This is my first purchase from the Hello Kitty by Sephora line and aaaah I love it! This lovely lavender themed compact is called the Say Hello Palette and it just couldn’t be prettier. I knew I would love it regardless of the quality because it has my precious Hello Kitty in it, but I really am impressed with both the product and packaging.

The Good: The shadows are silky smooth and glide across the eyelid with ease. The pigmentation is also good as you can see from the swatches below. And I can tell you as your resident scent fetishest that the lipgloss smells amazing, like a yummy fruit salad.

It’s also a great value at $35 because you get 4 eyeshadows – enough to create an entire took – as well as 4 lipglosses. And did I mention how freaking cute the packaging is? You guys know I’m a sucker for packaging, and this is some of the nicest I’ve seen. The compact is a pearly iridescent color, with a gleaming little silver bow. Aaaaaaah I die of teh cutes.

The Bad: I was a little disappointed with the lipglosses because they’re not pigmented at all. They’re more like lip sheers or lip balms than lip gloss. So sheer in fact that when I attempted to swatch them, they wouldn’t even photograph. It just looked like I had Chapstick on my hand. They’re very moisturizing which is nice, but not something I would use to complete a look.
