Spring Cleaning – My Beauty Cabinet

Author: The other night I was watching a collection video by the lovely Miss Andrea of AndreasChoice and suddenly felt inspired to re-organize my stash of beauty products. There’s still some work to do and a bunch of things I probably need to throw away, but at least this thing is organized now! And might I add, this was super cheap to do. I got everything I needed at target – and everything from the plastic drawers to the sparkly little baskets came to a total of $37 and some change. Not bad considering it’s probably going to save me money in the long run since I now know exactly what I have. And what I have is…quite a lot as you can see here.
I decided it just makes sense to have everything separated by category so I can actually find things when I need them instead of dumping everything on the floor and pilaging my bathroom cabinet like I normally do.
The top shelf showcases my extensive perfume collection. I loooove me some perfume as you can see here – especially celebrity fragrances by Mariah, Britney and Jennifer.
The second shelf is where I keep my jewelry, lip products and nail polishes. I separated all the lipliners, lipsticks and lip glosses for easy access in case I have a makeup related emergency which in my world happens pretty frequently.
The plastic container houses all my eye shadows and face products with my eyeliners and palettes neatly organized on the same shelf.
The bottom shelf is where I keep the hair products I don’t use very often. The rest are in my bathroom since I use those every day, but I figured there was no sense in taking up space in my teeny medicine cabinet when I could just give these a home of their own.
Now that I’m on this cleaning and organizing kick, I’m thinking about possibly doing a collection video. Let me know if that’s something you guys would like to see!
