Maybelline the Mega Plush Volum’Express Mascara

I’ve been on a mascara kick lately because I’m getting kinda tired of having to deal with gluing falsies on every time I wanna film a video. Don’t get me wrong, I loooove putting makeup on, but dealing with all the extra fuss can get a little taxing sometimes – not to mention it’s taking a toll on my real lashes.

So I’ve made it my goal to find a mascara combination that makes my lashes look dramatic enough that I can forgo the fakes every now and then. I’m happy to report this Mega Plush mascara has gotten me one step closer.

I had high hopes for this one so I’m really glad it didn’t disappoint – and in my humble beauty guru opinion I think Maybelline may really be onto something with this new gel-mousse formula. It’s probably the silkiest, softest mascara I’ve ever used and it gave me an insane amount of volume without making my lashes look all chunky and gross.

Though it’s too soon to tell, I also feel like this mascara is better for the general health of lashes because it’s so easy to remove. A lot of volumizing mascaras tend to require some pressure to remove, while this glides right off.

I la-la-loooove the way the flexor-brush delivers a healthy dose of mascara to lashes with no clumps whatsoever. Each individual lash gets completely coated resulting in the most dramatic volume I’ve ever gotten from a drugstore mascara – and it’s not stiff or sticky. The wand itself is impressive in it’s own right – the flexor part makes it easy to reach the micro-lashes in the inner tear duct gently, with an almost springy feeling. I’m aware that sounds weird, and no I’m not drunk as I write this – it really does feel springy! Dude, just try it and you’ll see what I mean.

Final Verdict: LOVE IT!!!
Price: $6.99
