Peep This Look – The Tropical
I just got a bunch of new Urban Decay eye shadows and came up with this look while I was testing them out. I call it The Tropical – shimmering, deep blue eye lids with a sheer, bright pink lip. And yes, this all led to an impromptu bathroom photo shoot. Hey, the eyeshadow was asking for it, what can I say.

Products:
Bourjois Eye Shadow – Blanc Diaphane (white)
Urban Decay Eye Shadow – Kiddie Pool (deep, sparkly blue)
Urban Decay Eye Shadow – Uzi (silver)
L’Oreal Lineur Intense liquid liner – Carbon Black
Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner – Zero
Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Liner – Wicked (hot pink)
Lip Smackers Pink Lemonade Lip Gloss – clear
Eyes: Prime eyelids, then apply the white shadow to the entire eye area as a base. Dip a flat eye shadow brush in a small amount of water, then apply two layers of the blue shadow to the lid. After blending, moisten a Q-tip, dip it in the shadow and sweep across the lower lashline. Apply the silver color to the crease. Line upper lashline with liquid eye liner, then use the liner pencil for the upper and lower waterlines. Curl lashes and apply two coats of black mascara.
Lips: Line lips with the hot pink liner, and fill them in. Blend a bit, then apply clear gloss. This will make the lips sheer and luscious!
Now grab a Mai Tai and go sit your ass on the beach somewhere!
PS – Yes, that’s how my skin looks at the moment. I had a little mishap with some self tanner I was reviewing. I think it’s God’s way of telling me I need to spend more time on the beach and less time in the cubicle so such measures aren’t necessary. Hey, the big man wants what the big man wants.
