All you have to do is watch this video and answer the following question in my YouTube comments section: “How do you define your individual beauty?”

Your answer can be about anything from your appearance to your spirit or personality; basically I just wanna know what makes YOU beautiful and unique. I will choose my 10 favorite answers, who will each win this fabulous prize. The contest ends Thursday, May 3rd at 11:59pm and winners will be announced a few days after.

Winners will be contacted via email for a mailing address and CoverFX shade (find your shade at CoverFX.com). I will then pass that info along to the good people at CoverFX, who will be shipping the prizes out from their headquarters.

Wow, I actually posted this video semi on-time. I know, I’m just as shocked as you are. Last night I had the pleasure of attending a meet-up hosted by CoverFX and Beautylish.com at the fabulous Sugar Cafe in San Francisco. I was on the fence about attending at first because I had to work late, but in the end the allure of cocktails, bloggers and beauty products was just too tempting for me to resist. It was so wonderful to see some of the bay areas finest, and it was especially great to finally meet Melissa of CoverFX after chatting with her on Twitter for several months. She and I got the chance to chat for a bit during the meet-up and she told me all about the line – which offers amazing coverage with skin care benefits. We discussed the line of foundations and powders, the importance of SPF (a key ingredient in many CoverFX products) and how hard it is for a mixed race person such as myself to find thee right color foundation. Between meeting her, mingling with fellow YouTube guru’s and even meeting a few of my subscribers, it was an amazing evening. And did I mention there was a goodie bag too? Ya, cuz there totally was.

These days the mere sight of a Beautylish goodie bag gets me more excited than imagining The Rock had doing his entire interview on Leno shirtless. No, wait. That’s still kind of exciting. But you guys get the point.

Aaaah the Beautylish sticker. Seeing this on anything is pretty much a guarantee it’s going to be awesome. It’s kind of like the USDA sticker, but for beauty products instead of steak. Which is good, cuz steak isn’t something you really wanna put on your face anyway. Unless you’re Lady Gaga, in which case it’s just a normal day.

Ok, ok- lets get to the goodies! These were provided by the folks at CoverFX and I can’t wait to try them out. Especially the anti-aging eye primer, I am all about that idea!

I’ll start testing the products out tomorrow and do a full review in a few weeks. I wanna pick up the foundation and pressed powder too so I can give a comprehensive overview of the line, so stay tuned. And special thanks to the CoverFX and Beautylish teams for hosting such a wonderful event!
