Flashback Music Monday – Cuz It’s Almost September Ya’ll!

Author: I’ve been saving this one especially for this week since tomorrow is the first day of September. This song/day always means alot to me since August is always such a tough month. My dad had his accident August 9th of 2002, and died on the 30th so this has always been a horrible time for me. But the first day of September always marks a new beginning, hence why this song means so much to me. Not to mention it’s one of the best songs of all time, by one of the best bands of all time.
It also means that Fall, my favorite season is just on the horizon! I can can almost smell the dried leaves now…
And with that, sing us out EWF!!!

Monday Old School Track…Just Work it on Out!!!
Not only is this one of the best sexy time songs ever, but the video freakin rules. I mean, it has everything you could ever ask for. A saucy LA nightclub, dancing girls with 90′s layered hair, a cameo from Holly Robinson before she was Robinson Pete! And don’t even get me started on how Babyface does the lambada with practically every girl in the club. Shit, his hair alone is reason enough to watch all 6 minutes and 19 seconds of this cinematic masterpiece.

Monday Old School Track…Baptized in tha Funk!
This song holds a special place in my heart becuase when I was in 8th grade this was THE song to skate to! Gosh I remember it like it was yesterday, my bff Kathy’s mom would drive us all to a little place us Pittsburg folk know as Marina Skate and us girls would straight take OVER ya hurd!!! Damn I miss the good old days

This song right here has had me laughing my ass off all day. Cuz’ I used to sing this ALL the time when it first came out, and I just now realized while listening to the words that this song is about making the sexy time. So basically I was singing about sexy time in the 5th grade. Explains alot…

Time for a Way Back Hot Track!
It’s that time again kids, and I gotta be honest, I feel like crap. This weekend was my friends birthday bash and I’m still recovering. I couldn’t even think of a track for this week, but luckily one of my hot co-workers came through with this one and saved my ass!
