Review- Jergens Natural Glow Express

Author: I’m normally completely opposed to anything involving self tanner, but picked up this tinted moisturizer out of necessity since my recent bout of boy fail has kept me indoors for the past week. And though I don’t love this stuff, it’s the least fail of all the self tanners I’ve tried.
Don’t let the word “moisturizer” fool you though, this stuff packs quite a punch. The label says it’ll darken your skin by a shade in three days, but by the second day I was almost too dark. I suppose if you’re going for a dark tan this is great news, but since all I wanted was a little color it was a bit too much.
I do like the fact that it didn’t leave me all streaky, and because the lotion has a slight color it’s easy to see where you’re putting it. It will however turn your hands as orange as a tanorexics face, so make sure you wash them well when you’re done.
While it doesn’t beat the natural glow that comes from going out in the sunshine instead of watching The Nanny re-runs in your PJs, it’s good enough to get you by until your next tan. Or until you realize that stupid boys aren’t worth it, and decide to go out looking for new ones =D
